The University of Hartford 教师 senate is the primary 教师 governing board and consists of 教师 members from each college who serve as senators and represent their constituent 教师 members.
The 教务长办公室, led by Provost H. 弗雷德里克Sweitzer, oversees all academic-related functions, including undergraduate and graduate programs, 教师, 和库.
The Office of Institutional Effectiveness supports the individuals and groups who make policies and decisions affecting the University of Hartford by collecting institutional data and information, conducting policy analysis for campus assessment/evaluation activities, and facilitating planning efforts.
Operating under the office of the Provost, OSP serves as the initial point of contact for 教师 and staff seeking external funding for their research. We are the lead office on campus for grant management, working closely with Financial Accounting Services, which oversees post-award financial reporting, and the department administrators in the schools.
The Institutional Review Board (IRB) at the University of Hartford is charged with the ethical review and oversight of research that involves human subjects.
作为教师, students reach out to you looking for additional ways to connect their majors to potential career pathways. The Career Studio promotes students becoming career ready through achieving specific 职业能力. 哈特已经开发出 职业能力 based on research from the National Association of 大学 and Employers (NACE) and UHart’s educational learning outcomes.
There are several ways to support student engagement in career-informing opportunities.
Below are a few suggestions:
